Maintenance Coordinator

Position Overview

Bongards Premium Cheese is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for its facility in Norwood, MN. This role operates on a day shift from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

• Maintain parts inventory levels and update the maintenance system as needed.
• Investigate discrepancies between physical and online inventory and communicate findings to the Maintenance Manager.
• Manage parts receiving, verifying accuracy of deliveries and updating systems accordingly.
• Review and approve invoices for parts received, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Put away all parts and maintain storage areas to ensure efficient access for maintenance personnel.
• Update inventory in the maintenance system, adding new parts and removing obsolete ones as required.
• Manage vendor relations, researching and recommending new vendors as needed.
• Perform physical parts counts for end-of-year audits and as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Act as a secondary resource for work order routing and management in the maintenance system.
• Report all food safety and quality concerns to their immediate supervisor or designated replacement.

What You Bring

• Above-average skills in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to learn various portions of the ROSS system (ERP) including purchasing, inventory, and maintenance.
• Knowledge and ability to use the Maintenance System (Maintenance Connect).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and operate various types of office equipment.
• Willingness to learn and operate a forklift.

Working Conditions

• Able to walk up and down stairs.
• Familiar with an in-plant maintenance department setting.
• Long periods of sitting.
• Variety of periods of sitting, walking, standing, and plant floor responsibilities.
