Maintenance Coordinator

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages the Maintenance Administrator
• Creates, organizes and coordinates planned preventive maintenance by established procedures and preventive maintenance program (CMMS).
• Captures and documents all downtime repairs and work time in downtime database or CMMS program.
• Coordinates and schedules maintenance inspections/repairs as required by third party vendors.
• Affords assistance in assigning work orders, unscheduled mechanical/electrical emergency repairs and adjustments in a timely and efficient manner while following established procedures and all food safety procedures.
• Maintains building facilities including wastewater plant, refrigeration systems, steam systems and building environment systems.
• Assists in the coordination of the installation of new processes, equipment or infrastructure upgrades that improve current processes.
• Promotes a safe working environment for self as well as coworkers.
• Affords assistance in the coordination of training and development of machine operators and maintenance technicians for equipment and process controls operation.
• Affords assistance on plant capital projects as needed.
• Suggests alternative improvements to equipment that improve and reduce repetitive downtime occurrences.

Requirements

• One to two years related inventory/stock room experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical parts knowledge a plus.
• Basic Computer knowledge, data entry experience.
