Maintenance Controller

Position Summary

The Maintenance Controller oversees fleet maintenance activities, ensuring work is properly planned, tracked, and executed while supporting branch teams and driving consistency across the maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up and monitor day-to-day fleet maintenance activities across multiple branches
• Track maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset readiness to minimize downtime
• Partner with branch maintenance teams to prioritize and execute maintenance work
• Maintain accurate records within maintenance systems, ensuring data integrity and visibility
• Support compliance efforts related to DOT, safety, and quality standards
• Aid in developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules
• Collaborate with Fleet Services, Safety & Quality, and DOT Compliance teams
• Identify and escalate maintenance issues impacting operations
• Support reporting and analysis of maintenance KPIs and performance metrics
• Aid in onboarding and integration during branch acquisitions
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Director

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in maintenance, logistics, or operations
• Experience in fleet maintenance, equipment management, or similar field preferred
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
