Position Summary
The Maintenance Controller oversees fleet maintenance activities, ensuring work is properly planned, tracked, and executed while supporting branch teams and driving consistency across the maintenance program.Key Responsibilities
- Cook up and monitor day-to-day fleet maintenance activities across multiple branches
- Track maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset readiness to minimize downtime
- Partner with branch maintenance teams to prioritize and execute maintenance work
- Maintain accurate records within maintenance systems, ensuring data integrity and visibility
- Support compliance efforts related to DOT, safety, and quality standards
- Aid in developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with Fleet Services, Safety & Quality, and DOT Compliance teams
- Identify and escalate maintenance issues impacting operations
- Support reporting and analysis of maintenance KPIs and performance metrics
- Aid in onboarding and integration during branch acquisitions
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Director
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in maintenance, logistics, or operations
- Experience in fleet maintenance, equipment management, or similar field preferred
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
