About the role
Maintain and repair production machines and equipment. Perform routine and special inspections, create troubleshooting guides, and assist with root-cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on production machines and equipment.
- Conduct routine and special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns on machines and equipment.
- Create and issue trouble-shooting guides, PM instructions, and technical work instructions.
- Work closely with operators and engineering teams to provide feedback and reduce machine downtime.
- Document all maintenance activity and assist with downtime reduction activities.
Requirements
- 2-year vocational certificate in Automation Maintenance.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician in a large and fast-paced manufacturing facility.
- Availability to commit to Weekday Grave Shift.
- According to the Safe Explosives Act of 2002, must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
- Ability to read and understand schematics on hardwire / relay logic, controls – PLC and industrial PC.
- Flexibility to respond to critical machine down time calls as needed during off shifts, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in hot and cold environments.
