About the role
Be a part of our expanding Everline Resort & Spa team. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for working in a team environment to ensure the overall upkeep and eye appeal of all Everline Resorts pool & spas and grounds.
Responsibilities
- Performs a wide variety of daily work on resort pool & spa maintenance balancing chemicals, cleaning of pools and spas.
- Clean tiles, skimmer baskets, vacuum bodies of water.
- Make repairs as needed with PVC lines in pool.
- Ensure upkeep and storage of all pool chemicals.
- Maintain and repair grounds tools and equipment.
- Inspects machinery and mechanical equipment for defects.
- Dismantles machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and repairs them, using hand tools.
- Repairs and replaces gages, valves, pressure regulators and other plumbing equipment.
- Paint walls, floors and fixtures of establishment, using spray gun and brushes.
- Uses hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge and brunch trimmers and axes.
- Gathers and removes litter.
- Provides proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters and other ground features.
- Affords assistance in the routine upkeep and landscape.
- Assists with repairs of irrigations systems.
- Always maintains a professional demeanor, appearance and attitude.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic electrical and plumbing experience (desired).
- CPO certification or equivalent knowledge pertaining to pools and spas (desired).
- Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience with customer service preferred.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must have valid Driver’s license and meet company driving standards.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, sleet, ice, snow and heat).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
