About the role

Bonclarken offers various positions including counselor, CIT, Bible teacher, Foodservice, Guest Services, Office, and Recreation staff for our summer camps.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the spiritual growth of campers through Bible study and other activities.
• Assisting with daily camp activities such as meals, games, and evening programs.
• Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for all campers and staff.
• Engaging in team-building activities and leadership opportunities.

Requirements

• Strong Christian faith and commitment to the mission of Bonclarken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for working with children and adolescents.
• Previous camp experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a camp setting or similar youth-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Skills

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle stress and adapt to changing situations.
• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR.
