About the role
We are currently seeking a skilled & motivated Maintenance Assistant Supervisor in Grand Prairie, TX at 3Sixty Flats. In this role, you will assist with managing and coordinating activities of a service team to ensure that all upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings of the property are completed efficiently. The maintenance team diagnoses problems and makes repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances. You will also assist with scheduling and directly supervising all in-house and/or vendor work. This is a "working" lead role where you should be willing to share on-call duties with other team members.
The effective performance of our service team maximizes rents and maintains high occupancy levels by following professional maintenance practices, using quality control, and adhering to policies/procedures. Our service team is customer service-driven, creating a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist with managing and coordinating activities of a service team.
- Diagnose problems and make repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliances.
- Schedule and directly supervise all in-house and/or vendor work.
- Share on-call duties with other team members.
- Ensure upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years trade-related experience with at least 2 years of hands-on apartment maintenance supervisory experience.
- Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
- EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
- Hands-on HVAC repair experience required.
- Computer skills: use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies, and communicate via email.
- Valid driver’s license, transportation, and tools required.
- Willing to share on-call with other team members.
- DMV and background/criminal check will be conducted.

Pay
- Starting at $26 per hour, depending on experience.
- On-call bonus: $150 per week (calls or no calls) plus an additional $150 per holiday on-call bonus.
- Quarterly bonus: up to $1,110 potential (based on performance of property and team).
