Responsibilities
- Assume responsibilities for overall maintenance of facility.
- Perform preventative maintenance, painting, and repairs inside and outside the facility.
- Conduct routine tests and inspections on various facility systems.
- Implement programs in a manner that meets the goals and objectives of the facility.
- Perform designated cleaning tasks and preventative maintenance services.
- Perform defined cleaning procedures, using various chemical and cleaning agents, supplies, and equipment.
- Keep storage areas locked with supplies properly stored according to established procedures.
- Store all germicides, pesticides, and other toxic substances clearly labeled and locked away when not in use.
- Aid the Director of Environmental Services or Maintenance Supervisor with the implementation of the facility’s preventative maintenance program.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services or Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of trade or vocational school, with courses in blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC equipment, refrigeration and electricity (preferred).
- Minimum of two (2) years previous building maintenance experience (desired).
- Some knowledge of state building, plumbing, and electrical codes and local ordinances.

Pay
Hourly Range: $18.65 - $21.87 per hour
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, occasional weekends
