Maintenance Assistant

About the role

The Reserve at Mission is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Maintenance Assistant to join their team. Duties include maintaining the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition, while ensuring all systems are in good repair and hazard-free.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance activities to comply with federal, state, and local regulations
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional living environment
• Handle tasks related to commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and building codes

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance within a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or memory care facility is required
• Must have knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary
