About the role
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes. You will assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
Responsibilities

- Maintain the facility in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems
Requirements
- A high school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
- Prior maintenance experience required
Qualifications
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
Skills
- Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
