Maintenance Assistant

About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Maintenance Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a fire and passion for working with seniors, a flexible and energetic personality, and prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes.
• Assist in the maintenance of the facility to ensure a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
