About the role
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality care and a safe, clean, and efficient environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Performing routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Assisting with grounds keeping and facility maintenance projects
- Providing support to the Maintenance Department as needed
- Participating in emergency preparedness and on-call coverage as needed
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous maintenance experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
