Maintenance Assistant
Aurora on France is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in our Ebenezer Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care). This role monitors preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment, trains other building staff on basic trouble-shooting of building systems and equipment at our spacious care center in Bloomington, MN.
Schedule
- 80 hours per two weeks
- Day/evening shift
- Every other weekend
About the Location
Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus, is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, and Transitional Care. The center was named Top Nursing Home and Transitional Care Center by US News and World Reports for the past two years.
Responsibilities
- Monitor preventative maintenance programs
- Repair building systems and equipment
- Train other building staff on basic trouble-shooting of building systems and equipment
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience with mechanical equipment
- Special Boilers License – State of MN (must have upon hire or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire date)
- Current Driver’s License (in good standing)
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Associate of Applied Science (Vocational/Technical Training) or Associate Degree
- 3–5 years of experience

Pay
An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If eligible, a sign-on bonus may be offered based on the approved program at the time of hire.
