Maintenance Assistant

About the role

Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical aspects of the facility are in proper working order.
• Perform repair tasks throughout the facility.
• Assist with scheduling of outside contractors for extensive repairs.
• Maintain facility equipment and facility system maintenance schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Ensure our residents are comfortable and safe by applying knowledge, skills, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• As a minimum, a High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Maintenance Assistant experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but not required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.

Skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule

15-20 hours per week and on-call every other weekend.
