Maintenance Assistant

Fairview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Philadelphia, PA is now hiring a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Avoid preventative maintenance of building systems and equipment.
• Perform painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs as needed.
• Maintain grounds and assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and facility policies.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
