Maintenance Assistant
Job Duties
The Maintenance Assistant must possess the ability to perform a variety of duties, including assisting with the maintenance/repair and modification of the building, its utility systems, and grounds; follow a written planned maintenance program on various mechanical, electrical, and systems equipment, as well as the necessary documentation as required in permanent files.
Qualifications
- A high school graduate/GED preferred.
- At least one year in one of the following fields: (a) general maintenance (institution or building), (b) carpentry or facility construction, (c) plumbing and/or electricity, (d) appliance maintenance.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate, understand, and carry out directions or instructions, both written and verbal, as well as work independently.

About the Campus
Crestwood’s program in Vallejo is based on a commitment to providing mental health clients with a continuum of care that puts them well on the road to recovery. MHRCs provide psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure, residential settings with a focus on brief lengths of stay. RCFE supports independence, while providing health and wellness programs, managing both physical and behavioral problems, and promoting integration into the community.
