Responsibilities
- Affords assistance with basic facility repairs of property, equipment and grounds.
- Executes scheduled preventative maintenance on facility equipment, excluding those services contracted out to outside contractors.
- Handles errands, manages incoming and outgoing freight, lifts and moves heavy furniture and equipment.
- Conducts routine inspections of property and equipment and keeps accurate records of work performed.
- Occasionally performs paid on-call duty for emergencies as directed by the Administrator and Maintenance Director.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, with a technical degree or associate degree preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn, ability to follow directions, and good attention to detail.
Pay
Hourly rate ranges from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, with potential for advancement into a Maintenance Director role.
