Position Overview
Are you ready to lead a team of skilled mechanics into the heart of operational excellence? As the overseer of maintenance and repair operations, you'll orchestrate the daily rhythm of a team of mechanics, ensuring the seamless functionality of equipment vital to our operation. From diagnosing and repairing to establishing preventive maintenance programs, your expertise will minimize downtime while maximizing safety. Your discerning eye will ensure that our facilities remain pristine in cleanliness and compliance with waste disposal regulations. You're equipped to navigate the complexities of motor controls, conveyors, and MHE repairs. Your analytical prowess and knack for problem-solving will be put to the test as you gather data and implement solutions.
Shift
SHIFT: Tuesday-Friday 4:00pm - 2:00am
A Day In The Life
- Lead a team of mechanics, guiding them through the day's tasks.
- Oversee equipment repair and maintenance.
- Assign work orders, making sure safety and production-related tasks come first.
- Whenever needed, jump in to help with diagnoses and repairs.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs is crucial to minimize downtime.
- You'll ensure the schedule is followed religiously.
- Create efficient methods and procedures for departmental activities falls under your purview.
- You'll troubleshoot operational problems and communicate your expertise to keep things running smoothly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the building, grounds, and equipment is essential for smooth operations.
- Supervise the facility's waste disposal program, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with DC leaders is key to meeting maintenance needs; tour facilities regularly to ensure they're well-maintained.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, completion of trade school is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance and supervision
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures is essential
- Maintenance and repairs of conveyors, motor controls, and MHE is highly valued
- Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data, and to develop effective solutions
- Excellent management, leadership, communication, organizational, and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering-related programs is necessary for success
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Basic computer proficiency

Benefits
Individual pay decisions will be based on a variety of factors, such as but not limited to, qualifications, education, job-related skills, relevant experience, and geographic location. Min-Mid $71,000-76,000
