Maintenance and Tool Room Manager
Position Overview
The Maintenance and Tool Room Manager is responsible for leading a team of Skilled Trade employees to meet the safety, quality, and production goals of the facility. In this role, you will organize, plan and monitor the repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of equipment and tooling, work with Skilled Trades and Operations on team assignments and priorities and identify, plan and execute individual and team training initiatives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
- Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered
- Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
- Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- Experience with SAP planning and ordering functions
- Experience implementing and utilizing CMMS systems
- Knowledge of electrical test equipment & PLCs
- Knowledge of machining operations including CNC Mills and Lathes and automated manufacturing, CNC and robotic operations
Skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and make sound decisions
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
- Ability to make impactful changes to Eaton’s maintenance system
