Maintenance and Reliability Technician

About the role

The Maintenance and Reliability Technician will perform priority repairs and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner, complete scheduled projects to timeline and quality standards, and effectively work with production and other repair staff to maximize quality of work and productivity of department.

Reports to M&R Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Execute priority repairs as assigned
• Repair equipment specific to CFF and its producers
• Perform scheduled repairs to company quality and cost standards
• Provide service and labor for farm group
• Perform general carpentry, plumbing, and steel repair
• Provide labor for or lead other projects
• Execute maintenance procedures on assigned farms (Asset Maintenance Program)
• Prepare equipment for use and maintain and properly store equipment not in use (Seasonal Equipment Preparation)

Requirements

• Visual ability to operate machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach
• Ability to perform mechanical or skilled tasks of a non-repetitive nature (e.g., carpenter, technician, service person, plumber, painter, mechanic)
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle or receive regular mileage reimbursement
• Employment offer contingent upon review of candidate's motor vehicle record (MVR) for insurability per company policy

Pay

The targeted base pay range for this role is $22‑$29 per hour, reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
