About the role

The Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor plays a critical role in executing maintenance strategies and ensuring equipment reliability across the Amarillo Operation. Reporting to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager, this position oversees daily maintenance activities, supports asset lifecycle management, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Support the implementation of maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle plans developed by the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians across foundry, machining, and plant operations, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor daily work orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards (LSR) and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
  • Aid in tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance effectiveness and equipment performance.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to team members, fostering continuous improvement and technical development.
  • Cook up with external contractors and vendors to ensure maintenance work meets company standards and timelines.
  • Support budget adherence by managing labor and material resources efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Basic (Required) Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited university OR a minimum of six (6) years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or operations. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with CMMS platforms and preventive/predictive maintenance planning tools, strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems, Bachelor’s degree in Equipment Reliability or Engineering, ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing environment leading maintenance teams, solid technical understanding of relevant industrial equipment and maintenance procedures.
