Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates equipment as required in order to diagnose failure.
- Troubleshoots equipment to the electronic and/or mechanical component level and dismantles equipment as required to make repairs.
- Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
- Realigns and adjusts components such as spindles and clutches.
- Validates repair of machines and equipment following repair.
- Troubleshoots electrical components and must be able to measure AC and DC voltages and interpret machine system drawings.
- Provides support and training for the machinists and machine operators.
- Develops and maintains the preventive maintenance list for each machine and performs the preventative maintenance as required.
- Schedules repairs using outside suppliers as required.
- Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
- Supports raw material / saw and part finishing / parts washing activities as required.

Education/Experience
- Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical disciplines preferred or equivalent training from military or technical school;
- 5 years related experience and/or training on CNC production machines;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
