Maintenance Administrative Clerk - Lansing Transit

Responsibilities

• Effectively facilitate and manage the flow of information within the Maintenance Department
• Liaise with the operations department to schedule fleet vehicles into the shop for repair and maintenance
• Open, close, and update work orders within the fleet maintenance system (Maximo)
• Enter data from repair orders on a daily basis
• Request and process parts and service quotations
• Submit parts and inventory requisitions for purchase orders
• Receive parts and inventory into Maximo
• Generate reports as needed
• Ensure all vehicle asset information is kept current and matches the actual assets in the CSC
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate, orderly, and up-to-date filing systems for all maintenance records
• Maintain security of all files and records
• Perform various administrative tasks

Requirements

• Prior experience in Automotive / Fleet service and maintenance
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and professional work area
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
