About the role
Mid-State Sales is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of production equipment and two company facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
- Troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize downtime
- Absorb and install new equipment, upgrade existing systems, and improve machine reliability
- Support facility maintenance tasks including electrical systems, HVAC equipment, plumbing, and building components
- Communicate service needs to vendors and maintain maintenance records
Requirements
- Experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Computer proficiency for maintenance tracking and vendor communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and working on ladders and at heights
- A positive attitude and willingness to assist in various areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10-hour training certification

Schedule
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional flexibility based on operational needs.
