About the role

The Mainline Technician at Porsche San Diego is a skilled position offering a unique opportunity to join the Holman family. This role comes with a generous sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and relocation assistance. Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials
• Keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for dealership tools at all times
• Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair
• Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry, as well as in the diagnostics arena

Requirements

• 1 year or more of Porsche technician experience required
• Technical Auto training or Porsche certifications, ASEs are a plus
• Valid Drivers License, a clean MVR or minimal violations
• Willingness to undergo Holman's background requirements

• Must be able to diagnose and repair various automotive issues accurately
• Must maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Must be able to road-test vehicles to ensure quality repairs
