About the role

We are seeking mediators for various locations across Maine, including North Yarmouth, Portland, Wiscasset, and York. This role involves facilitating employment mediation for discrimination cases and other workplace disputes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate employment mediation sessions for discrimination cases and other workplace conflicts
• Guide employees and employers through the mediation process to reach mutually agreeable resolutions
• Apply knowledge of employment law and mediation techniques to assist parties in communication and negotiation
• Prepare for and conduct mediation sessions in accordance with professional standards

Qualifications

• Experience in employment mediation, particularly related to discrimination matters
• Knowledge of employment law and workplace dispute resolution practices
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to remain neutral and facilitate productive dialogue between parties
