Main Shop Service Advisor | Commission-Based - Hyundai of Kirkland

About the Role

Hyundai of Kirkland is seeking a Main Shop Service Advisor to join our service department. This is a great opportunity with a lot of career development and growth at the top-performing Hyundai dealer in the Pacific Northwest, voted #2 among Extra-Large Best Places to Work in Washington.

The Main Shop Service Advisor is responsible for assisting clients throughout the repair process and writing repair orders for our technicians. The ideal candidate has great customer service skills and previous service writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
• Drive the sale of technicians' time to meet the department's sales forecast
• Prioritize required services and provide options upon request
• Keep customers informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes
• Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience

Pay

Pay Range: $6,000 to $15,000.00 a month, including a one-month guarantee period to acclimate and get up to speed.

Schedule

Two schedule options: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, 7AM - 5PM.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous service writing experience
• Knowledge and/or experience in Hyundai Advising is highly desired
• Experience in CDK + Xtime is preferred
• A desire to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
