Mailroom Services Coordinator

About the role
This position is responsible for preparing paperwork for all in-bound and out-bound shipments and outgoing mail logging for pre-sort. Responsible for opening and monitoring UPS accounts. Sort all USPS mail according to departments and branches. Using UPS Trackpad, scan all inbound UPS/FedEx envelopes and packages. Provide support to various departments to ensure timely processing of all critical shipments. The position will also be responsible for light maintenance in the building, including moving boxes up to 40 lbs. Additionally, this position will provide support to the team by performing as acting supervisor when the Mail Distribution Center Supervisor is not present.
Responsibilities
- Scan into delivery mode all UPS and FedEx envelopes and packages.
- Sort and track all overnight deliveries and deliver appropriately throughout Flagstar Headquarters.
- Assist with opening new UPS accounts and monitor open accounts.
- Accept and scan all deliveries from outside suppliers and vendors.
- Sort, deliver, and acquire a signature on all deliveries.
- Prepare all outgoing boxes for UPS and FedEx acceptance, including weighing the shipment, creating a shipping label using iSHIP, and preparing an End of Day manifest for UPS pickup.
- Act as supervisor for the Mail Distribution Center Supervisor in their absence.
- Drive company vehicle to Post Office and local branches for deliveries as needed.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
- Consistently adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job and complete required compliance trainings.
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC) or foreign equivalent.
- Minimum of 1+ years of mailroom experience.

Physical demands
The job requires significant physical exertion and stamina such as repeated bending, reaching, climbing, or moderate and frequent lifting.
Pay
Pay Range: $17.00 - $24.52 per hour
