Mailer Trainee (Part-Time)

About the role

The Albany Times Union is seeking two Part-Time/On-Call positions in its Packaging Facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to package products according to specifications.
• Ensure product quality and safety during packaging process.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar packaging or production environment preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
