Position Description

Title: Mailer/Pouch Operator I
Department: Production
Immediate Supervisor: Plant Supervisory Staff
Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Essential Accountabilities

• Operates mailer equipment safely and controlled.
• Ensures product compliance with technical specifications.
• Maintains equipment and set-up parameters.
• Monitors and adjusts controls to ensure products comply with production standards.
• Records quality and production metrics.
• Maintains accurate inventory and effective control of materials and supplies.
• Coaches and mentors assistants.
• Ensures adherence to safety rules and company policies/procedures.
• Performs quality control checks.
• Uses a tape measure.
• Is detail-oriented and has a sense of urgency.
• Wears personal protective equipment as required.
• Maintains good housekeeping.

Essential Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• No travel required.
• Able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Basic computer skills, including AS400 and Microsoft Office.
• Basic math skills.
