Mail-Order Staff Pharmacist (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our mail-order pharmacy team. Our team offers a casual work environment without the need for scrubs or uniforms, and we rotate initial and final prescription reviews to prevent burn-out and stress.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper review, verification, and dispensing of prescribed medications
• Conduct drug-utilization review
• Process prescriptions in compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations in all 50 states and the District of Columbia
• Obtain reciprocity licenses in other states
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in the practice of pharmacy
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following policies and procedures in compliance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations and the NABP Minimum

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required
• Minimum of one year as a practicing pharmacist
• Active and unrestricted Arizona Pharmacist License
• Ability to obtain reciprocity licenses in other states

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist License
