Mail Operations Technician

About the role

This full-time role is based onsite in Vienna, VA, focusing on the efficient production and distribution of outbound mail and printed materials. The position involves operating mailing equipment, ensuring mailing accuracy, and collaborating with departments to meet deadlines. Knowledge of postal regulations and mail processing technologies is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate sorting and inserting equipment efficiently.
• Configure equipment based on envelope size and inserts.
• Perform equipment setup and maintenance for optimal processing.
• Monitor equipment performance and perform minor repairs.
• Coordinate mail operations to ensure resource efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large automated inserting machines.
• Eligibility to become a Notary Public per state regulations.
• Knowledge of USPS regulations and mail processing.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Advanced clerical and administrative skills.

Compensation: $25.00 Per Hour
