Mail Clerk/Courier

Responsibilities

• Performs timely delivery and pick up of laboratory and pathology specimens, reports, and supplies between hospital facilities, medical offices, and other designated patient service centers.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service to clients, physicians, office and lab personnel at all times.
• Other tasks or responsibilities may be assigned by the department manager/director.

Qualifications

• Valid state Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• OSHA/DOT/IATA certification for diagnostic specimen packaging and shipping one time every 3 years and maintain updated.
• Blood borne pathogen and Chemical safety annual class requirements.
