Mail Carrier

TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route in the Madison, NH area.

About the role

This position involves delivering mail along an assigned 67.3-mile line-of-travel with 414 active mailboxes. Applicants must reside in the area and be prepared to work in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail in delivery sequence for 414 active boxes
• Load mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
• Deliver mail along an assigned 67.3-mile route
• Dismount vehicle as required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Perform other administrative duties as required

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid New Hampshire driver's license
• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Must reside in the Madison, NH area
• Must provide your own vehicle that meets the following minimum requirements:
  • One dependable vehicle providing 120 cubic feet of usable load space (e.g., mini-van, SUV, truck with camper shell)
  • Must meet postal regulations and driving requirements
  • $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for the contract vehicle
  • Applicant is responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs
• Must pass a drug test
• Criminal background history must meet USPS standards

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:40 AM – 2:45 PM* (end time varies based on route completion and delivery of all mail and parcels)

Pay

• $25.25/hour (straight time)
• Vehicle reimbursement paid on top of hourly pay
• Health & Welfare, Holiday pay, and Vehicle Reimbursement paid as cash equivalency up to 40 hours per week (per DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act)

*Rate of pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.
