The position involves serving a rural route with 389 active boxes and a 77.7‑mile line‑of‑travel. Responsibilities

• Sort mail in delivery sequence for 389 active boxes
• Load mail and parcels in delivery sequence into the delivery vehicle
• Deliver mail along an assigned 77.7‑mile line‑of‑travel
• Dismount as needed to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Perform other administrative duties as required
• Provide your own vehicle that meets postal regulations

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid Montana driver’s license
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Reside in the Thompson Falls, MT area
