Job Description
A Senior Service Associate – Team Lead will report to the Dyehouse Supervisor and will assist in directing and controlling processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures. The Senior Service Associate will operate equipment safely and efficiently to ensure the very best quality is produced to Milliken and Company’s customers.
Qualifications
- Must have dye house experience.
- Must have awareness of PC hardware components, desktop operation system software and application software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access).
- Should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve opportunities.
- Able to interact effectively with management, staff, range operators, shade table, and work independently, and/or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs and be capable of using motorized equipment (fork trucks, tuggers, etc.).
- Must be self-driven.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct associates in accordance with department leaders.
- Operate each job on the responsible range according to established procedures.
- Ensuring range runs efficiently by communicating with shade table and operators to reduce down time on cleans, sku’s and help find and line up upcoming orders.
- Oversee the training development of new or cross training associates.
- Oversee the PO’s that get put on hold are put in the hold area.
- Complete necessary audits to help ensure 1st quality (SUOS audits, range audits, housekeeping audits, etc).
- Follow written and oral instructions from department leaders.
- Maintaining high level of housekeeping and cleanliness, keeping a safe working environment.
- Aid in quality analysis, defect prevention and countermeasure implementation.
- Maintain and develop processes as relating to the management and development of associates and processes.
- Monitor and analyze process parameters to ensure machines are performing to specification.
- Transport fabric and material from one area to the next using different types of material handling equipment.
