About the Role
Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Handles appointment scheduling, care and chart management, and provides information to patients to help them fully utilize and benefit from clinic services. Conveys a positive image of the clinic. Collects and processes routine testing, returning results to the doctor. Obtains and processes doctor’s orders, performs data entry, and delivers excellent customer service to patients, doctors, and other medical staff. Works well under pressure and performs CLIA-waived moderate testing.
Responsibilities

- Deliver customer service to patients, doctors, and medical staff
- Perform CLIA-waived moderate testing

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Current BLS Certification
- Valid driver’s license
- CMA course preferred but not required
- Phlebotomy course and phlebotomy experience
Skills
- Experience with computers and office equipment
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus)
- Understanding of medical terminology
- General math skills
