Certified Medical Assistant - Women's Clinic

About the role

Harris Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. This position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with performing patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of a provider.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Maintains examination areas and documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Completes administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Performs other tasks within the scope of the position as delegated by practice leads, supervisors, managers, or Market Directors.

Requirements

• A current state certification as a certified or registered medical assistant.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Previous medical office experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Monday - Friday, 8a-5p.
