Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities
- Conduct daily rounding, prescribe medications/treatment plans, and address acute/emergent issues
- Communicate with facility nursing staff via phone or secure messaging as needed
- Maintain reliable on-site attendance for scheduled shifts
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active U.S. license as an Advanced Practice Provider
- Board-certified by ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN (for Nurse Practitioners), or by NCCPA (for Physician Assistants)
- Qualified specialties include Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, General Practice, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Geriatric Medicine
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Schedule
- 6-hour facility shifts for full-time positions (rounds generally start between 7–10 a.m.)
- Freedom from on-call and overnight requirements
