Mad Science Instructor
About the Role
As a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that illustrate how science affects the world around us. You'll facilitate one-hour, three-hour, or all-day science enrichment programs using a pre-set, easy-to-understand curriculum. Each session is high-energy, blending entertainment and education in a hands-on class environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate science enrichment programs for children, ranging from one-hour to all-day sessions.
- Engage students with high-energy, hands-on activities and demonstrations.
- Guide children through take-home projects that showcase the wonders of science.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in an organized setting is an asset.
- A reliable car.
- Flexible working hours.
- Fun and outgoing personality.
- Background check required.
