About the role
Maintain a clean, safe and professional work area. Safely operate lathes, mills and shop equipment. Quickly produce quality parts to close tolerances. Work with a team of machinists and welders. Machine steel, aluminum, bronze, cast iron.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School graduation, strong mechanical background.
- Willingness to learn.
- Excellent machining abilities.
- Knowledge of cylinder construction techniques.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to climb a ladder.
- Ability to work with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a Machining program.
- Knowledge of Mig/Tig/Stick Welding.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Communication, ability to work in a team environment, visual inspection of parts.
Work Environment
- Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for short periods of time is possible.
