Overview

Join us as a Machinist Mill (CNC) and see how your variety of routine and non-routine machining make a difference and how critical it is to helping us deliver on our purpose and achieve our goals. Element HB is searching for a self-motivated, mechanically inclined person to add to the Machine shop. This role will be responsible for operating various Machine Shop equipment in the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Willing to train the right candidate
  • Set-up, Operate and Monitor machinery to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner, including machining a variety of samples to close tolerances
  • Select, Align, and Secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines
  • Use of machine tools and inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED required
  • Experience using basic hand tools
  • Previous shop experience a plus
  • Technical/vocational training in related field a plus
  • Willing to train the right candidate

  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Team player
  • Specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with
  • Keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge
