Machinist - Lathe Specialist

About the role

Maintain and operate precision machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce high-quality metal parts. Perform setup, operation, and adjustments as needed. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machining equipment to fabricate metal components.
• Follow detailed blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy in part production.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related experience in manufacturing or machining.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency in using CNC machines and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.

Skills

• Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
