Machinist II

Key Responsibilities

• Define machining sequence or production work order
• Assemble and prepare tools and equipment
• Prepare, complete and install tools and/or clamping devices
• Enter processing data and simulate production process
• Operate work order related production program
• Check results and correct program if necessary
• Control and document work order progress
• Oversee activities of auxiliary personnel, if required
• Carry out minor maintenance work
• Cooperate with maintenance to identify and resolve failures, if required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and Journeyman Certification or equivalent experience
• Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English
• Able to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Vocationally trained in Technical
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
