Machinist II

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3-axis to 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components that meet strict specifications.

Key Duties

• Interpret blueprints, traveler instructions, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Load/unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform machine setups, adjustments, and quality inspections.
• Document inspection data and communicate issues or improvement suggestions with engineering.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience operating multi-axis CNC mills.
• Strong blueprint reading and understanding of machining principles.
• Knowledge of shop mathematics and metal properties.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, twist, bend, and reach.
• Lift 25 pounds regularly and occasionally 50–75 pounds.
