We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, no invented or summarized away detail. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "Why Join Our Team?" maybe part of Benefits? The posting includes "Why Join Our Team? In addition to exciting career opportunities, we also have: Excellent personal and professional career growth9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off) , if applicableOnsite cafeteria (breakfast & lunch)Much, much more!" So we have schedule (9/80 work schedule), benefits (cafeteria, career growth). Also compensation details: "Compensation Details: TN2 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate..." This is vague; they say compensation range or hourly rate listed is provided as a good-faith estimate. But they didn't actually give a number. It says "TN2" maybe a code. There's no actual numeric range. According to rules: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. For Pay, they didn't give a specific number or range; they just say compensation range or hourly rate listed is provided as a good-faith estimate but not actually listed. So we should NOT include Pay section because no actual compensation figure. Schedule: they mention "9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off) , if applicable". That's a specific schedule mention. So include Schedule section. Benefits: they list health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, holidays, retirement benefits (including 401(k) matching), educational reimbursement, parental leave, employee stock purchase plan, tax-saving options, disability and life insurance, pet insurance. Also "Excellent personal and professional career growth" and "Onsite cafeteria (breakfast & lunch)". So Benefits section should be included. Now we need sections: About the role (intro paragraph), Responsibilities (list of duties), Requirements (maybe required skills?), Qualifications (maybe preferences?), Skills (maybe required skills?), but we need to avoid duplication. The posting includes "Required Skills:" and "Preferences:" and also "Essential Functions" with physical requirements etc. We need to map content to sections. We must not invent sections; we can include sections only if posting has real specific content for them. We have: - About the role: The introductory paragraph(s) describing passion, mission, Amentum, opportunity. That's substantive. - Responsibilities: The bullet list of duties under "The Machinist II will:" and subsequent sentences describing tasks. That's responsibilities. - Requirements: Could be "Required Skills:" (High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 4 years machinist experience, familiarity in at least one CNC programming language, ability to follow written and verbal instructions). Also "Essential Functions" includes physical requirements etc. Those could be considered Requirements or Qualifications. But we need to decide. - Qualifications: Could be "Preferences:" (proficiency in programming of CNC Mills and Lathes with CAD CAM, ProE, GibbsCAM, or Conversational CNC with multi axis programming; experience on specific machine tool types; overhead crane experience; handling of NASA flight hardware). Also maybe "Essential Functions" physical requirements could be Qualifications? But we need to avoid duplication. - Skills: Could be the same as Required Skills? Might be redundant. Perhaps we can combine Required Skills into Skills section, and Requirements into Requirements (education/experience). But we need to follow instruction: Use sections only when posting has real specific content. We can have multiple sections if content distinct. Let's extract: Education/Experience: "Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of machinist experience." That's a requirement. Required Skills: "Familiarity in at least one CNC programming language. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions." Also maybe "Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures." That's also skills. Preferences: list of preferred skills/experience. Essential Functions: Physical requirements etc. Could be under Requirements or Qualifications? Might be better as a separate section like "Physical Requirements" but not in allowed headings. Allowed headings are only those listed: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we need to map physical requirements into either Requirements or Qualifications. Probably Requirements includes education/experience and maybe physical requirements. Qualifications could include preferences. Skills could be the required skills (CNC language, ability to follow instructions). But we already have Required Skills; we could put them under Skills. Let's decide: - About the role: intro paragraph. - Responsibilities: the detailed duties list. - Requirements: education/experience (HS diploma or equivalent, 4 years machinist experience) plus maybe ability to follow written/verbal instructions? But that's skill. We'll keep Requirements as education/experience. - Qualifications: preferences (proficiency in CNC Mills/Lathes with CAD CAM, ProE, GibbsCAM, Conversational CNC multi axis; experience on HAAS, Hurco, Servo, Mazak; overhead crane experience; handling NASA flight hardware). Also maybe "Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures." but that's more skill. - Skills: required skills: familiarity in at least one CNC programming language; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Also maybe "Ability to program and operate in at least one CNC language." That's similar. - Benefits: list of benefits. - Schedule: 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off) if applicable. We must not include Pay section because no concrete compensation. We must not include any boilerplate like "Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation." That's a requirement? Could be included under Requirements? It's a condition. It's substantive. Should we include? It's not in the allowed headings but we could put under Requirements as a bullet. It's a requirement. The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep that. Where to place? Could be under Requirements as a bullet. Or maybe under Qualifications? It's a requirement for employment. Let's put under Requirements. Also "Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment." etc. That's also requirement. But many of those are under Essential Functions. We need to capture them without creating new sections. We'll embed them in Requirements or Qualifications as appropriate. We must not repeat job title. Not include Job ID etc. We must not include application instructions like "For more information... please visit www.wehavespaceforyou.com". That's not a requirement; it's info. Should we keep? It's substantive but maybe considered navigation? It's a link for more info. The instruction: Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The link to more info is likely application instructions? It's not exactly application instruction but it's a referral. Might be considered navigation. Safer to remove. Also "Original Posting: 08/13/2026 - Until Filled" etc is metadata; remove. Also "Amentum anticipates this job requisition will remain open for at least three days..." remove. Also EEO statement remove. Now we need to output HTML fragment with headings

for each section, and
  • for lists,

for prose. We need to ensure we don't create empty sections. Let's craft:

    About the role

Are you passionate about human space exploration, understanding the origins of the universe, and working with a passionate and diverse team to make a difference? If you are, we need you! We need your talent, teamwork, and energy to help us achieve great things that inspire people all over the globe. We need you to bring creative ideas and diverse backgrounds to help us envision, shape, and deliver systems that will enable the exploration of space while benefiting people here on Earth. We are excited about what we do, and we need you on our team as we take on exciting challenges for NASA’s pursuits in deep space exploration. Amentum is NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States. We have an exciting opportunity for a Machinist II to join our team with the Department. This is a JETS II CBA position with Amentum.

    That captures intro. Now Responsibilities:

    Responsibilities

    • Plan, layout, machine and assemble to precision tolerances parts and tools designed to meet exacting standards and specifications consisting of mechanical or specialty apparatus.
    • Set and operate a variety of machining equipment such as engine and bench lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, job borers, grinders, hones, gear cutters, and drill presses, to fully utilize most functions of the machines.
    • Plan and determine under supervision the sequence of machining operations, number of cuts required to obtain required finishes and tolerances, determine cutting tools to be used and method of holding and aligning work.
    • Make complete layout on parts involving compound angles and exacting mating part work, to check for sufficient stock and for reference during machining.
    • Set up machines to completely and independently perform any operations within their capacity.
    • Select mount and align various specialized machine attachments and standard or improvised tooling.
    • Determine, set, and adjust machine speeds, feeds and depth of cut.
    • Select, mount, and fasten cutting tools for specified finish and best performance consistent with the type of material being machined.
    • May be performed under direct supervision if complex, or independently.
    • Check own machine set up and parts run for conformance to blueprint specifications.
    • May be required to grind own tool bits and drills.
    • May offer technical direction to engineers and customers on pre-fabrication, modifications, or repairs.
    • Work from detailed drawings, templates, sketches, assembly blueprints, or oral instructions.
    • Operate the machines to perform such typical operations as chasing all types of single and multiple external tapers; turning, boring, reaming, facing, slotting, etc., for any type of machine fit; machining parts involving compound angles or concentric and coordinated concave or convex surfaces to exacting tolerances; may include instruction from more experienced machinists.
    • Ability to program and operate in at least one CNC language.
    • Train less experienced machinists; general inspection of work.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Organize and properly store inventory, materials, and safety equipment.
    • Use of lift equipment as required.
    • Perform related duties as required.
    Now Requirements: We need to include education/experience, background investigation, ability to work in fast paced team environment, physical requirements? But physical requirements maybe better under Requirements as well. Let's list: - High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of machinist experience. - Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. - Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment. - Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. - Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. - Physical requirements: occasional climbing and maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; lifting up to 50 pounds; carrying up to 50 pounds for 3 feet; bending, kneeling, crouching/squatting and crawling from 1 to 30 minutes; frequent reaching, handling, manipulating objects; standing; hearing with or without correction; constant coordinating eyes, hands, and fingers to operate tools; seeing with or without correction;
