Machinist - CNC Programmer
Role Responsibilities
Operates conventional and CNC machines at the highest level for the production of aerospace and industrial components.
Able to perform set-ups on conventional and CNC machines with no supervision, both mills and lathes.
Understand, maintain, and execute Donaldson Quality Policies and Procedures.
Able to adjust and/or modify programs to bring parts into tolerance.
May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
Use inspection equipment to complete in-process inspection and first article reports.
May assist in the orientation and training of lower-level employees.
Perform basic machine maintenance as required.
Inspect the manufactured product for uniformity, conformance, and record.
Qualifications
- Six years of consistent machining experience, CNC or conventional both mills and lathes.
- Must be able to program CNC machines.
- Ability to demonstrate intellectual skills through analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, development of technical skills, and innovative solutions.
- Ability to read and understand all levels of blueprint features and machine shop routers.
- Ability to read, understand, and edit G and M code programming (CNC only).
- Perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal.
- Reacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
Pay
Hourly Rate: $31.71
Schedule
Hours are Monday thru Thursday 4:00 am to 2:00 pm.
