Machinist

Duties And Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (Haas lathe and 5-axis milling)
• Utilize Mastercam and CAM Assist or other AI software for machining processes
• Ensure precision and quality by selecting the appropriate tooling for lathes and mills
• Develop creative work-holding solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC experience (Haas lathe and 5-axis milling)
• Proficiency in Mastercam for programming and setup
• Manual lathe and milling experience preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of tooling and machining techniques
• Able to work independently and lead by example

Working Conditions

• The Lead Machinist will be in an air-conditioned warehouse environment
• Physical requirements include talking, Hearing, Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling, driving, sitting, and lifting

Pay

Compensation range: $65,000 to $85,000
