Machinist (AERO)

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up and operate large Vertical, and 3-AXIS CNC Mills
• Prove out programs with NC programmers and troubleshoot on the fly
• Machine precision components to tight tolerances using a variety of materials
• Perform drilling, milling, and tapping operations
• Use precision measurement tools to inspect your work
• Collaborate with designers and team members to improve processes and results
• Document operations and results for quality tracking

Position Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with large Vertical CNC mills (tooling work preferred)
• Experience operating or programming Multi-Access CNC machines a strong plus
• Skilled in reading blueprints, understanding GD&T, and interpreting engineering documentation
• Strong proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools
• Attention to detail, strong math skills, and solid mechanical aptitude
• Clear communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Collaborative atmosphere where communication and teamwork are essential to meeting goals
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform essential functions safely and reliably
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching to access files or office equipment
