Machinist, 2nd Shift

Nature of Duties

• Set-up and operate basic machine tools and equipment, use various hand tools and precision measuring instruments common to the trade.
• Make special cutters and mills, dress grinding wheels as needed.
• PM, clean, and prepare plastic injection molds for production.
• Check-in/clean/document/and prepare new tools for sample.
• Make ejector pins, core pins, make gate changes, K.O. bars, clean and polish mold cavities.
• Basic computer skills needed.
• Other related duties as assigned - assist machinists and tool and die makers as instructed.
• Adhere to general shop cleanliness and organizational guidelines.

Education and Experience

• Prefers 2 year degree in Machine Tool Program.
