Nature of Duties
- Set-up and operate basic machine tools and equipment, use various hand tools and precision measuring instruments common to the trade.
- Make special cutters and mills, dress grinding wheels as needed.
- PM, clean, and prepare plastic injection molds for production.
- Check-in/clean/document/and prepare new tools for sample.
- Make ejector pins, core pins, make gate changes, K.O. bars, clean and polish mold cavities.
- Basic computer skills needed.
- Other related duties as assigned - assist machinists and tool and die makers as instructed.
- Adhere to general shop cleanliness and organizational guidelines.
Education and Experience
- Prefers 2 year degree in Machine Tool Program.
